Alloy Health

We worked with Alloy Health to redesign their intake flow and apply their new look and feel across their entire site.

The problem

Alloy Health is a menopause care company that started with telehealth visits to give patients better access to medications. As they expanded into skincare, weight loss, and gut health, their old flow got harder to navigate and understand.

The problem

We redesigned the homepage to make the product offering and process clearer.

The visual work

Alloy's brand was bold, bright, and punchy, so the website needed to match. They didn't want to get lumped in with other brands in their market or read as "old" because of their target audience's age. They wanted to break the idea that older women are weak or should hide what they're going through.

I did a lot of image work on this project. We found that users didn't always realize most treatments required an intake flow and a prescription before they could purchase. I recreated the existing product shots into mockups that showed the actual products, felt more uniform, and made clear that a prescription was required.

Using Alloy's brand guide, I pushed the system to its limits to make the site feel as bold as the founders envisioned. I collaged images, shapes, and color to make it feel alive and dynamic, while keeping it usable and easy to understand.

The visual work

Showing actual products helped users better understand the products offered.

A better UX

We collaborated with the Alloy team to redesign the patient experience into something clearer and more seamless. Research showed patients were spending a lot of time messaging doctors just to figure out what treatments were available, and it wasn't always clear they had access to a real doctor at all. So we redesigned the site to prioritize education and the product offering itself, with more emphasis on the doctor's role throughout the intake flow. We also leaned into Alloy's real differentiator: rare access to a doctor specialized not just in women's health, but in menopause specifically. Together, this gave users more confidence in their treatment options and got them to care faster.

A better UX

A clear intake flow that gave users the ability to see each treatment available, as well as transparency in the doctor consultation and pricing of products.

What I took away

Designing the intake flow and dashboard was a completely different problem than the marketing pages, but it was genuinely enjoyable to work across the full site and build a better experience for Alloy's customers.
